"Rich Girls" on MTV...give me a break!

Postby silentchaos79 » Wed Dec 17, 2003 9:12 am

Honestly, these girls are just out of high school, and they are flying all over the place, hanging out with Randy Jackson from American Idol, start crying because they can't make a burrito, and totally clueless how to get around and shop in a grocery store?!? It just really bothers me that they are like 17-18 and think they have the hardest life in the world.."oh my god stop talking about clothes, I don't want to hear about them anymore today" Meanwhile, daddy Hilfiger is making millions or billions just so she can smoke and drink underage. Those two girls need to go on The Simple Life or have a different reality show, and see how real hardworking people live. Well thats my rant

They should do a "Millionaire/Billionaire Heir/Heiress Survival" reality TV show and ship them to some obscure island where nobody has even classified the genus of ants crawling through the forest.

LET US SEE HOW THEY SURVIVE WITHOUT THEIR ROOM SERVICE NOW!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Sorry for the melodrama.

i posted a reply to a similar topic on another board and i was told i was full of crap b/c i said the hiltons/rich girls should go to a place like the simple life and do real work...and that i was implying everyone had to be a slack jawed yokel to be considered a real worker. I replied with "i'd rather bundle my own bales of hay, than to pay someone $500 to do it for me because i dont want to break a nail, or dirty my Gucci suit and loafers" born rich or poor, you should have to learn the ins and outs of real work..not just how much credit you have on your new plastic devil toy aka credit card. I mean someone in their family had to work hard one day to get where they are, so they should too...but until then. Paris will be the good little socialite she is, Nicole will still be the adopted heroin child of Lionel Richie, and the 2 "rich girls" will still be under age drinkers, travel, smoke up, and be clueless as to how to work a grocery cart

Rich girls is a really good show and there not smokeing under age (drinking yes that they are doing) but who dosen't. About
$500 million is about how much he makes. If you hate the show so much then just don't watch it. Find something better to do with your time then judge two fine looking young girls that you never met before.

I watched it a few times, and don't anymore. But I just dont like how they whine and complain about how hard their life is. Like they've had it so rough. I grew up on the mean streets of D.C. and worked my way from the bottom up and I feel I'm a better person for it. They were born into a lavish lifestyle, and besides school (which I still question), everything's been handed to them. It just disgusts me. And being a socialite is not a career.

if by some chance i ever get rich, my kids wouldnt be getting much of anything for free, i would make them get a job when they were old enough to buy their own car and pay the insurance on it, and of course they are probably going to want to wear clothes, but thats why they have a job :D

i probably would pay their way through college, just because im a nice person :D

I think that you are right, in saying if you get rich make your kids get jobs and such. I would do the same, but not the same as you I think I would help them out a little. If they had a problum with having to work then, when there 18 they can try and find there own way of life. but all you people think that these girls have no money of ther own. Ally is a model and that makes some good money also she has been in boardway plays, and a movie/tv producer. Jaime is a producer and a writer

Well, I figured I'd wait a little over a year before replying to this. You know, build the suspense a little.

When I have kids, and they get out of high school, they are either going to be headed to college or I will kick them out of my house. ( Yeah, I will give them time to find a place to live  )

:P

talk bout THE uber necro-post.

yea, i don't really want to think bout kids. Not right now. Later on, after i graduate, and have a job.....

and then maybe a high paying job.

and then ill think bout having kids... and kicking them out of my house.

Won't give them the chance to make their own reality skit and televise it, or whatever is being used at that time by the media do induce commercials, and control mindless masses, like the TV is today (and is slowly losing to the net.) :D
