The fifth year is pretty good...of course I like all of em and I bought this one...to me its the one in the series where it starts to get intense...because The Dark Lord come back to the physical plane...

I would recommend this series to anyone that like the move...the books are always better.

i dont know if this thread has died, cause i havent been here for so long.

but im currently reading Belgarath the Sorcerer by David and Leigh Eddings (again).

I just finished the Belgariad, the Mallorean, and Polgara the Sorceress.

I've read the same 50 or so books over and over since school... David Eddings, David Gemmell, and Raymond E Feist.

Actually during the 4 years or so since I left school, I've managed to read a few Ancient History novels like the Twelve Caesars, Annals of Rome, some Herodotus, some Aeschylus, the Odyssey, the Illiad, and the Bible.

Are you into 18th & 19th century nautical fiction? If you've read C.S. Forester's Horatio Hornblower novels and Patrick O'brien's Aubrey/Maturin novels, you might check out Alexander Kent's Richard Bolitho novels. They are a good read.
