compiler?

compiler?

Im not very good with programming, i took a couple of classes on it but i was just wondering, my friend sent me c++ coding and i dont know what to put it into to run, do i need a compiler of some sort?

im almost positive youd need a compiler to put it together, unless he sent it in exe format
must....resist...urge...to...hijack..

borland looks like they have a free trial version here

or, try http://www.download.com (cnet) for freeware compilers or shareware

If I was writing C++ I would probably use http://www.textpad.com/ with Borland C++ Free Command Line Tools http://www.textpad.com/support/tips/borlandtip.html or Visual Studio http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/visualc/default.aspx
