Hi. I'm EvLwMn and I just registered here. I'm a true geek. Eat, sleep and breathe computers. I work for the Gov't as a Computer Specialist and have a degree in Geology (go figure). I'm also a member of Motherboards.org (Hi Toby B.!) and post there quite a bit although not as much as some.
I checked out your forum and I think it has potential. I'll be checking back from time to time to see what's new.
Also, I saw that Toby B. was asking about avatars in user profiles. What about it? I think it would be cool.

Yes puters are fun, spend way to much time with them...
About the potential of the forum...don't know, was pretty silent for a long time. Guess I will further improve the software for the main site to include more general tech and geek news and with more visitors the forum will grow too...

Yes Welcome to the board EvLwMn. Glad to have you. As for avatars like Peter said - not at this time. With only 70 users on this forum it is not worth the headaches, as you know from the Motherboard, people tend to stretch the rules on avatars. after the membership grows by a considerable amount then maybe.
