New Members Please say Hi!

Postby Foolhardy » Sun Oct 27, 2002 3:58 am

Ok Ok, I know I'm a total hypocrite since I didn't think to do this, but...

All the new members who haven't, please say howdy and introduce yourself. We promise we don't bite. Well, I guess I speak for myself - Toby is a gangster (motherboard mafia  ).

I'll start. Hi, I'm Foolhardy (foo for short) and I'm addicted to the internet and toying with 'puters. I like cars, movies, things that spin, and the letter h. I am also rumored to be heavily dependant on cheese burgers, but this maybe speculation at this point [edit by foo's brain: don't be fooled, this is completely true, the boy is whipped like a red-headed stepchild].

I've been a geek since about '92.

Everyone else's turn. Don't shove, just move to the back of the line please! :P

OK - I already did it. You can see mine here.
Which reminds me why I want to start working on a beowulf-on-a-backplane design: I want to be the one to write the program called "clusterfsck."

Most registered just that they can see the Matrox Parhelia list...I made it invisible for non registered users and asked some sites to mention it on their frontpage...;)

No I did not catch that one......Actually the only reason I made the comment on this thread was cause you said something about quality...

Howdy! My name is Happy Hillbilly and I'm an addict! A computer addict that is. Actually, I'm a bonafide Southern Redneck turning Geek! What a metamorphosis that is. I am 41 and have only been really involved in troubleshooting/upgrading and repairing comps since about Feb or March of this year. I didn't get my first computer till mid-December of last year. I've got a lot to learn still. I have learned a lot in a short time, though. Don't worry, I'm not one of those newbies who thinks he knows it all.

I love to have fun & I joke around fairly often, but I do know when not to joke/when to speak/when to keep my mouth shut & when to listen. There are at least 2 people here that I know from some other place. They are responsible for my being here. I came by to check up on them & make sure that they are behaving themselves. So, if you have any complaints about me, PM EvLwMn & Toby and chew there butts out real good for telling me about this site.

Looking forward to meeting all of you. And, if you ever have any questions about floorcovering of any type, please feel free to contact me. This is one way that I can repay for the help that you give me.

Ya'll come back now, ya hear?
