Win me was the cheap attempt to keep customers because it was taking so long to get XP ready. They took their crap code and shipped it out the door. :S

Tilo - they've done that with every OS they've put out since MS-DOS 6.2 :?

Out of all the OSs, 98 worked the best - me was just a buggy facelift to 98, with less dos support than ever before... knowing MS, as incarnations go, it will get worse (or was xp better?), but considering the time they're putting into Longhorn - maybe it'll be decent.

yep, 98se was the best :D

2k and xp are a little more stable, but, it might just be because i spent so long on 98, they seem annoying to use

the DOS-lessness is kind of annoying also, theyre probably working on putting in some code in the next version of windows that will go into your boot.ini and remove any reference to dos or an OS that supports it :?
