been looking for this game for a while, and didnt want to buy it off of the internet, but i found it a few days ago

its a whole lot of fun, but AL:KHFSDFHSJKG is it hard, kinda reminded me of a couple of arcade games that used to eat a whole lot of money, but harder

you are a ship, shooting hundreds of other ships, and your ship can alternate between black and white, when its white, it absorbs white attacks and is stronger against black enemies, when its black it absorbs black attacks and is stronger against white enemies

but, you dont have to take my word for its greatness and difficulty, here is a review by maddox

You dont have to tell me twice. I have this game for Dreamcast & Gamecube. And yes it is unsanely hard. but sooo worth it. If you like this. also check out Giga Wing, Bangai-O, Zero Gunner, and one of my all time fav's Rez

been meaning to try rez, i hear its supposed to be pretty good

the only thing i dont like about ikaruga is the cooperative mode, it would be a lot more fun if your ships could pass through each other, instead you push each other into walls and bullets

Yea Rez is pretty trippy, I only have it on Dreamcast, but i hear the PS2 has some Rezvibrator that pulses to the music in the game...i usually feel dizzy after playing for a while....but I love the co-op mode in Ikaruga, if u and ur 2nd player are on the same playing level, should be in sync enough to not bump into each other...i have yet to find that person for me

well, we do ok most of the time, he will fly in front and absorb white ship bullets while i attack with black, if its a black ship, we switch, do ok until the beginning of chapter 3 and chapter 4, lose almost all of our lives just flying around


i googled Rez to make sure it was on ps2 or gamecube, i was pretty sure it was on ps2, but wanted to make sure before i went and looked for it, the first thing that came up was a different use for the rez vibrator
