hey, I was just wondering what is the quality of a 6800xt (saphire) compared to a Ti4800, and the whole Ti series?

It's hard to compare any card to the TI series, I had a TI 4200 and it was awesome.

Edit: Ofcoarse that's when I trusted Nvidia and they actually put products out in time.

a 6800xt compared to a TI is like a TI4800 compared to a 4mb onboard video... maybe even worse. i can guarantee that the 6800 xt will be bottlenecked in your system, maybe if you have an amd 64 3800+ and pc4000 ram it wouldnt be, but other tha that, if you get that card every game you play will be limited to the power of you system and you wont have to worry about your card any more
