That's awesome Daemon!! Thanks :D

I think I know someone who can use that TIVO info
Which reminds me why I want to start working on a beowulf-on-a-backplane design: I want to be the one to write the program called "clusterfsck."

Hey Daemon - I sent a link to this thread to my friend I referenced above who I thought could use the info. Here's part of the response:

GREAT BALLS O' FIRE!!!!! You are awesome E - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!

I told him that I only sent him a link to YOUR (Daemon's) post - so YOU (Daemon) are the one who is awesome, not me

And no Tilo - members can't delete their own posts. That's why you have mods hanging around :D

NOTE: Tivo Series 2, the hacks work until you hook the hdd back up to the tivo and turn the tivo on, what happens is the tivo version 4 os detects the script changes and re-writes over them, there isnt a hack to fix this yet

I reached out to TiVo for one of these limited edition lunchboxes to share with a lucky reader. And this lunchbox is truly extra special, featuring 2TB* of ad-skipping DVR goodness.
