Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm glad to be here. I'm sure when people start to discover this site the membership will grow. It just takes time to get your name out there. Peter, I think if you do get more geek and tech stuff on the main site you will be pleasantly surprised. Like I said - it just takes time for people to get to know you are out there.
Maybe in the future you could do reviews on things like digital cameras, joysticks, and the like. You know - something besides boards (motherboards, video cards, etc.) - there are tons of sites that already do that stuff. You need to find a niche. It would be really cool if you reviewed hardware for use with the Linux OS! Hardware reviewers all do Windows exclusively

I've never found a good comprehensive place to find out what works well and what does not work so well using Linux - you know, someone doing actual reviews. The hardware compatibility how-tos that I have seen are not so good and some are dreadfully out of date. Just a thought.
As for avatars, I understand some of the problems and headaches involved. I think we can live without them for a while

Which reminds me why I want to start working on a beowulf-on-a-backplane design: I want to be the one to write the program called "clusterfsck."
